Lesson plans exactly as you want them

  • Our Educators can advise on the best course of action for 1-1 lessons. However, there is no reason that students and parents can’t draw up a schedule that they wish the Educator to follow.
  • The advantage of 1-1 lessons is that they are entirely catered to you. Below there is some further detail on the 1-1 course experience.

Course Details

  • Each one of our courses comes with a specific set of features you can always expect.
  • All courses include homework and feedback, whether this be in the form of presentations delivered in class, tests or marked written work.
  • We always include an introductory video from the Educator about the course. This gives our students the opportunity to have a taste of what lessons are like before signing up for a trial.
  • Although homework and feedback are recommended, as you are taking courses by yourself, any parts of the course can be adjusted to fit your precise goals and requirements.

As many as you like. There is absolutely no obligation to continue lessons with an Educator until you are completely satisfied that they understand your requirements and can fulfil your expectations.

Absolutely. Many students who we work with often find that when carrying out 1-1 lessons, it can be an effective strategy to have more than one Educator to cover different subjects if this is applicable.

Of course, and this is actually common. We often find that during courses, students can get intrigued by a certain area and book 1-1 sessions to get more depth or take their learning off in another direction.

Provided that it is within the scope of their expertise, your Educator can create whatever is most suitable for your lessons. If you need something further, UEG has a very large team! It is more than likely that another Educator will be able to collaborate on your course to make it work.

Group Online Learning

Lesson Plans for Everyone

  • If you have created a group, UEG will get clear on what the overall objective is, whether that be hitting a certain target, or just learning for pleasure.
  • The nature of group learning means that there is less flexibility than with a 1-1 lesson. However, the group’s Educator will always strive to accommodate wishes as far as possible.
  • Please discuss with your group if you would like to make adjustments to the lesson plan and together, we’ll come up with a solution.
Join a Group Online

  • You may be in the position that you would like you or your child to learn in a group but you haven’t created one yourself.
  • Don’t worry! UEG runs many group lessons and Courses on a weekly basis and it’s more than likely that we will be able to help you form a group class.
  • Alternatively, it’s possible to join a group online class that is already running, providing that the class is happy to accommodate a new group member.

Generally speaking, our users should expect the vast majority of our courses to be displayed on the Union Education Group website. Nevertheless, our team is always rapidly expanding and we’re constantly creating new material for the platform. A new selection of Educators and Courses are added and updated on a weekly basis so be sure to keep an eye on the homepage.

Absolutely. If a course is not listed on the website, get in touch and we’ll deliver it for you within the week.

So long as both your schedules allow it, there is no limit to how much time you can spend with an Educator on a weekly basis.

No limit whatsoever. So long as you have the time and your Educators of choice are free, you can continue to enrol on as many courses as you see fit.

We pride ourselves on making our content as bespoke as possible. With this in mind, courses can be taken without doing homework in-between lessons. Nevertheless, we recommend doing homework for your course in order to get the maximum benefit.

in-person education

Educators directly to your home

  • Union Education Group is based in London and we can send Educators to your home on request.
  • Educators are available both nationally and internationally for residential stays or one-day visits.
  • In-person Education can take place both in a 1-1 setting and in small groups.
  • Courses can also be taken in person at your home or at another location.

Bespoke Lesson Plans in-Person

  • Browse our catalogue of Educators and press ‘Contact Educator’ to book lessons to take place in person.
  • Lesson plans can be discussed in advance and a structure put in place for the long or short term.
  • In person lessons can be switched online from time to time if this is more convenient for you.
Group Classes in-Person

  • UEG also runs many group classes both in London and nationally.
  • If you would like a group class in-person, please request an Educator but select the ‘Group’ option.
  • The majority of these classes take place at student’s homes. However, UEG also has various alternative locations where the group classes can take place.

FAQ's

There are virtually no limitations globally as to where our Educators travel, insofar as we have never not been able to fulfil an enquiry where somebody is located. We understand that for one reason or another, online learning is not always the solution and work hard to make sure our students have in-person teaching if they need it.

Lessons are possible at the UEG London offices. Failing this, we often set lessons up in libraries and other communal zones if students would prefer to learn away from home.

This is dependent on how far they have to go. We do not expect expenses to be covered if it’s simply the price of a tube or bus ride in London. However, if Educators need to drive a long distance or take a train or plane, travel expenses are expected to be paid.

Yes and this is very common practice, particularly if there are several students of different ages who are all working towards different goals. As ever, you can trial Educators until you find the perfect fit.

FAQ's

Absolutely. We offer part-time Education to many students nationally and internationally but there are a range of different instances where UEG took over schooling completely. Contact us to see how we can help.

Not at all. Usually, we take over home schooling for around one year but the process has extended beyond this before and there’s no reason home schooling can’t last for as long as you wish.

There is no minimum age requirement for a student’s home schooling to proceed. Most of our students learning with us outside of the formal classroom fulltime are over the age of eight.

Home schooling can just as easily take place at your place of residence or at one of our offices in London. Furthermore, a large number of home schoolers are increasingly taking their lessons online.
