Founded in 1892, The Univeristy of Reading was originally a counterpart of Christchurch College, Oxford. Since obtaining full univeristy status in 1926 the university has flourished into an internationally recognised institution. As a redbrick university it has its roots in inindustrial development, continuing this passion for progress the univeristy places a strong emphsis on research and global engagement.
