Founded in 1892, The Univeristy of Reading was originally a counterpart of Christchurch College, Oxford. Since obtaining full univeristy status in 1926 the university has flourished into an internationally recognised institution. As a redbrick university it has its roots in inindustrial development, continuing this passion for progress the univeristy places a strong emphsis on research and global engagement. The teaching style and global recognition has led to high ranking graduate employability, student satisfaction and sustainability programs.

A particular area of note is the univerisites Henley Business School, one of the oldest business schools in the world. The global emphisis on research is further supported by a number of international partnerships, including a campus in Malaysia.
