
Brunel University of London is located in Uxbridge, in West London. The university can lay claim to over 200 years of educational foundations as numerous colleges occupied the institutions previously. Particularly of note is the Brunel College of Advanced technology, the institution that existed until the university gained its status in 1966. It joined the University of London in 2024, changing from Brunel University to Brunel University of London. Since its founding it has continued to expand to 16,000 students, providing them with easy access to central London and an array of educational opportunities.
Academic content at Brunel University is divided into three colleges: the College of Business, Arts and Social Sciences; the College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences; and the College of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences. In addition to this the university is home to five research institutes. This desication to research is reflected in the facilities, with specialist laboratories, transport simulators, MRI scanners and other motion-capture equipment available for student useage. Practical placements are also offered to students, to provide students with hands on skills and experience throughout their university journey.

The application process is streamlined to provide clarity to students during this unfamiliar process. Entry requirements vary depending on each course, howere there are considerations if students do not reach the specified qualifications. Some courses also state A-level grades, rather than UCAS points, considering current subjects rather than cumulative grades.
