Admission to Streatham & Clapham High School is selective, with entry points at 4+, 7+, 11+, and 16+. The process aims to identify academic ability, creativity, and personal potential. For 11+ entry, applicants sit written assessments in English, Mathematics, and Reasoning, followed by an interview with a senior member of staff to explore curiosity, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. For Sixth Form entry, offers are based on predicted GCSE grades, references, and an interview, with candidates typically expected to achieve at least six GCSEs at grade 6 or above.
Scholarships are awarded for academic excellence, music, art, drama, and sport, and means-tested bursaries are available through the GDST to support accessibility. Open events are held during the autumn term, giving families the opportunity to experience the school’s community and ethos firsthand. Streatham & Clapham High seeks girls who are motivated, imaginative, and open-minded and students who will thrive academically while embracing challenge, leadership, and creativity within a nurturing environment.
