Radley College prides itself on fostering a dynamic learning environment where discussions are lively and insightful, whether in dissecting historical ideologies or debating complex ethical issues in multiple languages. Subjects like maths, politics, economics, and sciences dominate at A level, complemented by a strong offering in humanities and languages.. The integration of modern technology is encouraged but balanced with traditional teaching methods, creating classrooms that are both innovative and charmingly eccentric, adorned with geological specimens and a small zoo of exotic creatures for biology studies. While the school continues to evolve in its approach to special educational needs (SEN), support mechanisms are expanding to ensure all students, regardless of learning style, can thrive academically and personally within Radley’s inclusive community.

Admission to Radley College is predominantly at age 13+, with 60% of students admitted from the Radley List, registered before their third birthday, and the remaining 40% through the Open Entry pathway, registering before the end of Year 5. Applicants sit the ISEB Common Pre-Tests early in Year 6, followed by interviews for Radley List boys and shortlisted Open Entry candidates. A redesigned assessment process, tailored for primary school boys, aims to identify potential beyond attainment, reflecting the school's commitment to holistic evaluation. For entry at 16+, places are allocated based on performance in written papers and interviews, with unconditional offers issued in December preceding GCSE examinations. Radley College offers honorary scholarships in academic, art, drama, music and sport disciplines at 13+. The admissions process seeks boys who embody kindness, talent, and ambition, aiming to enrich Radley life through their contributions.
