King's College School Wimbledon's Junior School admissions process is structured by age and occurs each September. For entry into the Junior School, there are admissions at 7+, 8+ and 9+ entry. Admissions for the senior school happen at 11+, 13+ and 16+. The boys' year group is determined by their age on September 1st of the admission year. Parents must first register their sons online to sit for assessments. Prior to this, it is recommended that you visit the school with your child. After that, registered candidates will be invited to take written assessments. These assessments usually include English, Mathematics and a Reasoning paper. Once the entrance assessment results are complete, some applicants will be invited back to be interviewed and for Junior School admission, to take part in an activity session. Offers for the 11+ entry are made in mid February. Admission decisions consider multiple factors, and boys not admitted can reapply in subsequent years, with admission being merit-based. King’s offers a number of scholarships and bursaries at 11+, 13+ and 16+.
