Admission to Ibstock Place School is structured around several entry points. For younger children, main entry is at 4+ and 7+. At 4+, assessment in January includes group activities and language development evaluation. The 7+ entry involves formal assessments in English, reasoning and maths. Registration is encouraged soon after birth due to high demand. In the senior school, around 80-90 students join in Year 7, with the rest from the prep school. Applicants undergo online CAT tests, a learning workshop assessing collaboration skills, and provide a reference from their previous school. Successful candidates proceed to formal exams in maths and English in December. Additionally, a few students join the sixth form based on academic achievements, CAT tests, and interviews with school leadership. Interested families can inquire about occasional places in other school years directly.
