ADMISSIONS

Admission to Colfe’s School is selective and available at 4+, 11+, 13+, and 16+. The process seeks to identify academic ability, curiosity, and the potential to contribute to the school community. For 11+ entry, candidates sit entrance assessments in English, Mathematics, and Reasoning, followed by an interview and reference from their current school. Entry at 13+ follows a similar format, while Sixth Form admissions are based on GCSE performance, references, and an interview, with students typically expected to achieve strong grades in their chosen A-level subjects.

Scholarships are awarded for academic excellence, music, sport, and art, and means-tested bursaries are available to widen access for deserving pupils. The school runs its own “Leathersellers’ Scholarship Programme,” which provides full bursaries to outstanding students from state schools in Lewisham, funded by the historic Leathersellers’ Company. Open events take place throughout the year, allowing families to experience the school’s distinctive spirit and values. Colfe’s aims to attract students who are curious, open-minded, and motivated to achieve excellence within a supportive and ambitious environment.
