The University of Dundee holds a global reputation for its dedication to social purpose and research excellence. Based on the coast of the Firth of Tay estuary, the university was founded in 1881 as a constituent college of the University of St. Andrews. In 1967, the university became independent from the University of St Andrews following a petition related to the development of the educational institutions across the country. ADMISSIONS
Applications for undergraduate courses at the Univserity of Dundee must be done through the UK's UCAS system, for postgraduate programs, students must apply on the university's website. Entrance grades and expecations vary between courses, students must hold recognised academic records that support their entrance into their course of choice. English language proficiency must also be demonstrated through either recognised assessment boards or the mode of instruction at the student's home institution.
