The curricuum is seperated into 12 schools many of which are associated with research centres and institutes to connect academic research with international organisations. Numerous subjects are consistently ranked within the UK's top 10. There is also a focus on medical, scientific and artistic research and innovation over the last five centuries of operation. There is also a high level of sporting ability across the student population, with over 220 sports clubs and societies.
