ADMISSIONS

Wetherby Senior School is selective, with main entry points at 11+, 13+, and 16. For 11+ entry, candidates sit assessments in English, Mathematics, and Reasoning followed by an interview with senior staff. For 13+ entry, boys may join via the school’s pre-test route or through later assessments, with interviews forming a key part of the process. Sixth Form entry is based on predicted GCSE grades, an interview, and subject specific requirements for A level study.

Academic, music, and sport scholarships are available, and the school offers means tested bursaries to widen access for talented pupils. Open events run throughout the year, enabling prospective families to experience the school’s culture and academic ethos. Wetherby Senior looks for boys who are academically engaged, motivated, and ready to contribute to a community built on respect, ambition, and intellectual curiosity.
