With around 650 applicants vying for 88 year 7 places, Francis Holland RP emphasises a holistic approach to the assessment process, aiming to understand each candidate's unique personality and ability. First, prospective students are invited to register by early November the year prior to entry. As part of the London 11+ Consortium, which includes its sister school at Sloane Square, the school conducts a bespoke Consortium assessment process focusing on creative and critical thinking, analysis, synthesis, and problem-solving. Candidates can take the assessment in their current school or at any Consortium school if necessary, usually at the end of November or early December. Moreover, for sixth form entry, candidates are expected to have at least four grade 8s at GCSE, with between seven and 15 girls typically joining the sixth form each year.
