By the end of these lessons, students will have their own ensemble piece filmed and edited together. Key focus areas include harmonies, musicality, ensemble singing and performance.
This unique project will bring together a variety of singers to perform a 4-part ensemble piece. Each lesson, singers will learn their parts for a song which will mirror the way rehearsals are conducted in choirs. Students will have additional materials to practice their part in their own time too. There will be an opportunity for solos if students would like to audition for one. This piece will work on harmonies, musicality, ensemble singing and performance. By the end of the eight lessons, students will have an ensemble piece filmed and edited together. This course represents a great opportunity, not only for students to improve their singing in an enjoyable group environment, but also to take part in a creative process that will benefit them across the board.
