This course uses a variety of drama games, singing and acting exercises to develop performance skills. Students will learn all about what is required of a musical theatre performer through detailed work on songs, scenes and staging from some of these popular West End musicals: Mary Poppins, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Les Miserables, Matilda and Mamma Mia. This course will explore the methods used to devise, rehearse and stage these big shows with a mixture of discussion and practical exercises. This course promises to be a dynamic, creative and fun learning experience.
